What disorders are most often referred to Braingym for?

Learning disorders

Learning disorders are neurological disorders that affect a child's ability to properly receive, process, retain, or convey information. These difficulties often occur in specific areas of learning such as reading, writing, mathematics or language learning. The most common learning disorders are dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia.

Dyslexia, reading difficulties

Dyslexia is a learning disorder that causes difficulties in reading and writing. It is a neurological disorder that occurs due to genetic and environmental factors. Reading difficulties do not always equate to dyslexia. Reading difficulties in children can arise due to impaired auditory and visual information processing skills.

ADHD and other attention disorders

ADHD/ADD (attention and activity disorder) is a neurological disorder characterized by difficulty concentrating, maintaining attention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. Everyone with ADHD/ADD may experience symptoms differently, and they may change with age. The symptoms of ADHD/ADD in children cause a number of challenges in everyday life and make the learning process difficult.

Autism spectrum disorders

Autism spectrum disorders are neurological developmental disorders characterized by poor social skills, certain behavioral features, speech disorders that occur in early childhood and often persist throughout life. Children with autism spectrum disorders perceive information differently. Autism is a spectrum disorder because each child has different symptoms. The exact cause of autism spectrum disorders is not clear, but it is believed to be due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors.

Memory disorders

Memory disorders are conditions that affect the ability to acquire, store, recall, or use information from memory. Memory is a complex cognitive function that involves several processes, including encoding (the initial process of obtaining information), storage (retaining information over time), and reproduction (the ability to access and use stored information when needed). In addition to having memory disorders, you may not only have difficulty remembering, but also in academic and other daily activities.

Intellectual disorders

Intellectual disorder is a deviation of intellectual abilities from the norm, causing certain difficulties in behavior, emotions, communication. This is most often manifested by disorders of cognitive functions, motor skills and speech. Children with intellectual disability usually have a lower than average level of intelligence, often measured by intelligence quotient (IQ). The intelligence test carried out and the IQ score are only one part of the evaluation, it is necessary to carry out a clinical evaluation of the child's intellectual development. Intellectual disability manifests itself in the early period of development, often up to the age of 18.

Disorders of brain function after trauma (TBI)

These are disorders of brain function that occur when you suddenly experience a physical head injury that results in damage or disruption of normal brain function. These disorders can occur for various reasons - accident, fall, sports injury, etc. The severity of the injury can range from mild to severe, and the effects can be temporary or long-term. Children and adults with identified neurological disorders after brain injuries very often experience negative alterations in cognitive skills.

I decided to give my child a Gibson test before first grade because I was worried and we had some such fears. The child's speech and perception lagged behind peers. During the consultation, we received answers to all fears and a lot of useful information about our child - how he thinks, how his brain works, and we also know what difficulties we may face in school and what solutions would be possible. The test showed which strengths and weaknesses of the child, we found out which areas should be improved. I turned to Braingym for the lack of concentration of attention of my nine-year-old son. At the beginning, we did the test, and I was very surprised by the educators of the institution when the test results “drew my child to me like on the palm of my hand.” Then, individually, a learning program was adapted according to the worst test criteria. I emphasize - the course was really intense. But after completing the course for 72 hours - 3 times after 1.5 hours - we got surprising results. The child's concentration of attention has certainly increased, he has become much more receptive to science at school. And in order to be sure of the test results, I additionally talked after the completion of the course and with the teacher of the child's school, who only confirmed the effectiveness of Braingym. In the spring we take a break and rest after intensive courses. But in the fall we will definitely return to improve further. Thanks to the Braingym team!:)
